What to Do When You Receive Your Infinity™ Sponge

Your Infinity™ Sponge has been sealed in a frosted bag for quality purposes. Upon opening, simply rinse it with tap water, and it’s ready for use. If you notice a slight "new product" scent, leaving it out in open air will help eliminate any residual odor.

Should I Wash My Infinity™ Sponge Daily?

If you use soap while washing dishes, simply rinse the sponge thoroughly with water when you’re finished. Letting it air dry between uses allows the silver fibers to work their self-purifying magic.

Can I Use Dish Soap with My Infinity™ Sponge?

Yes! You can use dish soap with your Infinity™ Sponge. However, we recommend using natural or mild dish soaps. Harsh chemicals or heavy-duty dish soaps may gradually degrade the silver fibers, reducing their odor-neutralizing properties.

What Should I Avoid Using with My Infinity™ Sponge?

• Microwave Sanitization (DO NOT) - Do NOT microwave a silver-infused sponge or Infinity Sponge as the metal fibers could spark or cause fire.

• Do Not Use With Harsh Chemicals - Avoid using bleach, ammonia, heavy vinegar, or other strong acids/bases directly on the sponge, as these can break down the silver fibers and reduce their antibacterial properties.

• Fabric softeners & dryer sheets – These can leave a residue on the sponge, making it less effective.

• Avoid Soaking in Standing Water - while the silver fibers naturally prevent bacteria buildup, leaving the sponge submerged in water for extended periods may weaken its structure over time. After use, rinse and let it air dry.

• Avoid Excessive Grease Buildup - If the sponge comes into contact with excessive grease, it may absorb some oils. To refresh it, hand wash with mild dish soap or toss it in the dishwasher or washing machine periodically.

• Avoid Rough Scrubbing on Certain Surfaces - Although gentle on most surfaces, please test on delicate finishes before scrubbing aggressively.

• Avoid Cross-Contamination - If you use your sponge for raw meat juices, immediately wash it thoroughly with hot water and mild soap. Consider designating separate sponges for dishes and surface cleaning.

• Proper Storage - Store your sponge in a well-ventilated, dry area. Avoid keeping it in a closed, damp container, which can encourage bacteria and mold growth.

• Replace When Necessary - Even with good care and high quality fibers, all sponges eventually wear out. If your sponge starts to break down, smell, or lose effectiveness, it’s time to replace it.

• Safety Warning - The silver fibers in the sponge are highly conductive, and exposure to intense heat can cause sparking, melting, or even fire hazards. To ensure safety, always store and use your sponge away from potential ignition sources. If using near hot cookware, ensure the sponge does not come into direct contact with flames or extreme heat.

How Should I Wash & Care for My Infinity™ Sponge?

For daily care, rinse the sponge with tap water or hand wash it with mild soap, then air dry. This method helps maximize its longevity. If deeper cleaning is needed, you can place the sponge in your washing machine or dishwasher.

While tumble drying on low heat is possible, we recommend air drying to preserve the internal bamboo sponge and maintain its texture. Some dryers may slightly alter the product’s feel.

How to Handle Stains

If your Infinity™ Sponge develops stains, wash it with water and soap, then air dry. If you choose to tumble dry (low/cool setting), be sure to treat any stains before drying, as heat can set stains permanently.

Can I Cut My Infinity™ Sponge?

No. Do not attempt to cut your sponge. The sponge is designed with anti-cut features that resist smooth-bladed knives, but shearing cuts might occur from any blades. Cutting shown on product page/campaign/video is to simply to demonstrate its durability.
